12 Erotic Movies for Each Zodiac Sign

Believing in zodiac signs is just as fun as believing in anything else. Many people are curious about guiding large parts of their lives—whether in general matters or intimate affairs—based on astrological insights. Love, passion, relationships, and sex are frequently analyzed through the stars, tarot cards, crystal balls or the cosmos in general.
Interestingly, I recently came across a film series known as "The Zodiac Films" (Stjernetegnsfilm in Danish). These movies marked the dawn of adult film production by Danish studios in the 1960s and 70s—pioneers in the genre at the time—featuring crews and actors from mainstream cinema and enjoying wide theatrical release.
The collection consists of six films (of which I have only seen four, as they are hard to find), bearing the following titles: I Jomfruens tegn [In the Sign of Virgo] (1973), I Tyrens tegn [In the Sign of Taurus] (1974), I Tvillingernes tegn [In the Sign of Gemini] (1975), I Løvens tegn [In the Sign of Leo] (1976), Agent 69 Jensen i Skorpionens tegn [Agent 69 in the Sign of Scorpio] (1977), and Agent 69 Jensen i Skyttens tegn [Agent 69 in the Sign of Sagittarius] (1978).
These films are primarily sex comedies—featuring plenty of nudity and some explicit sex—characterized by high production values, large casts and occasional musical numbers. They showcase the playful side of erotica through simple storylines that draw inspiration from aristocratic or rural settings.
Inspired by this theme, I decided to create a list of films that might reflect some of the characteristics associated with the zodiac signs. So, here are my suggestions for erotic movies for those who identify with each zodiac sign.
Aries (21 Mar - 19 Apr)
9 Songs (2004)
Aries is direct, impulsive, and intense. This British film focuses on raw passion and the physical energy of the moment—cutting straight to the chase—by combining the intensity of rock concerts with absolute intimacy.
Taurus (20 Apr - 20 May)
Lucía y el Sexo (2001)
A Mediterranean island, bronzed bodies, and sex intertwined with memories and the sea. Taurus melts for this tactile, slow, and indulgent sensuality, where every touch seems to last an eternity.
Gemini (21 May - 20 Jun)
The Dreamers (2003)
A Parisian threesome amidst the 1968 revolution, cinema as an aphrodisiac, and sexual games that defy taboos. Gemini will be thrilled by the insatiable curiosity, spicy dialogue and the freedom to experiment with everything.
Cancer (21 Jun - 22 Jul)
Como Agua Para Chocolate (1992)
For the most nostalgic and emotional sign, nothing beats eroticism linked to affection and cooking. It is a story of repressed desire that overflows through care, dedication, and tradition.
Leo (23 Jul - 22 Aug)
Belle de Jour (1967)
A bourgeois woman—impeccable by day, high-end prostitute by afternoon—whose fantasies transport her into dreams of intense pleasure. Leo will roar at the drama, glamour and the thrill of secret desires.
Virgo (23 Aug - 22 Sep)
The Secretary (2002)
Exploring eroticism within a defined structure—involving rules, meticulous service, and transcendence through discipline—resonates with Virgo’s analytical and methodical nature.
Libra (23 Sep - 22 Oct)
Henry & June (1990)
Anaïs Nin, Henry Miller, and his wife in bohemian Paris, where desire dances between three bodies with literary elegance. Libra falls for the aesthetic harmony and the pursuit of balanced, expansive pleasure (even if forbidden).
Scorpio (23 Oct - 21 Nov)
Crash (1996)
A fetish for intensity and speed, sex born of accidents and collisions, an obsession that pushes limits. Scorpio recognizes itself in this dangerous fusion—in desire that consumes and sets both body and mind ablaze.
Sagittarius (22 Nov - 21 Dec)
Wild Things (1998)
Unexpected conspiracies, sweaty betrayals, and sex in the heat of the moment. Sagittarius loves unpredictable adventure, dark humor and a lust that plays by no rules.
Capricorn (22 Dec - 19 Jan)
La Pianiste (2001)
Repression exploding into cold domination; calculated power games. Capricorn feels right at home with the discipline that transforms desire into art.
Aquarius (20 Jan - 18 Feb)
Shortbus (2006)
Experimental sex and orgies where sexuality flows freely and taboos crumble without shame or inhibition. Aquarius celebrates collective sexual freedom and innovation in the discovery of pleasure.
Pisces (19 Feb - 20 Mar)
In the Mood for Love (2000)
For the most romantic and dreamy sign, eroticism lies in what remains unsaid. A film of extreme poetic beauty, focused on tension, temptation, platonic desire, and an intense atmosphere.
