Explore with curiosity

If I could offer just one piece of advice regarding eroticism and sexuality, it would be this: explore with curiosity. Let go of certainties.
No matter how much human behavior is studied, no single study encompasses every person in the world. And no matter what conclusions are drawn, they always rely on analyses that might choose to focus on the glass being half-full or half-empty (“the majority is this” or “the minority is that”). Treat such information merely as a guide; most of these studies address the “hows” or the “how manys,” but none can fully grasp all the “whys.”
Each person is a unique universe, constantly transforming and evolving.
There are no scientific studies capable of deciphering the individuality of every person. Furthermore, we are quicker to lose interest in something we think we know than in something we are constantly seeking to understand. When it comes to people, the goal should never be to know someone completely—doing so risks freezing that person’s existence in a specific time and place. This happens especially to those stuck in a conservative outlook on life, where change is feared and the challenges of a different reality are rejected. In that comfort zone, nothing transforms; everything simply wears down until it is lost.
Likewise, the glorification of chaos—where everything is in constant flux without purpose or connection to anything concrete—easily gets lost in its own paradox. This tends to happen to those who neither know nor care to know anything, as only total detachment allows one to overcome the fear of attaching importance to something that might be lost or cause pain.
Curiosity lives somewhere between these two extreme views of reality.
Curiosity opens windows where others close doors. It takes risks and dares, just as one experiences and learns. Curious minds need not be creative to be original; they simply need the will and courage to ask, research, explore, and experiment.
This drive born of ignorance is far more rewarded than the arrogance of absolute wisdom.
It is when we think we know everything that we leave no room for the surprise of life’s randomness. Doubt is fundamental to our growth and to forging bonds with others.
It is from this doubt that the necessary questions arise—questions that help us understand and value the existence of other beings and universes. Through this exploration, connection and a shared sense of intimacy are built. And along this shared journey, we allow time and space to converge, creating a new universe that—like all life—is unique, fascinating, and unrepeatable. 🔥
